Trapezius Muscle

The trapezius muscle is a large muscle that spans the upper back and neck. It plays an essential role in posture, movement, and stabilization of the neck and shoulders. However, it is also prone to tension, tightness, and pain, particularly due to stress, posture, or repetitive strain.

Symptoms of Trapezius-Related Tension

  • Stiffness and pain in the upper back, shoulders, or neck.

  • Reduced mobility of the neck or shoulders.

  • Pain radiating to the head, contributing to tension headaches.

  • Tender points or knots in the muscle.

  • Fatigue in the shoulders and upper back after minimal activity.

If you would like to talk to a health professional about any of the above factors from the trapezius muscle, please schedule a consultation with the Kanvasd team. During the consultation, the healthcare provider will assess your condition, discuss your medical history, and determine a suitable treatment option for you.
